Full-day tour: Giza pyramids, Saqqara and Memphis

This day follows the story of the pyramids from their home at Giza back to where it began.

We start on the Giza plateau with the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure and the Sphinx, and your Egyptologist explains how they were built. At Saqqara you walk the necropolis around the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the first pyramid ever built. The last stop is Memphis, the first capital of Egypt, where the open-air museum holds the colossal statue of Ramses II.

Transport is air-conditioned, entrance fees are paid, and water and juice are included. Meals are extra.

Bring a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen, since the sites are open and sunny. Wear comfortable shoes for sand. Meals are extra, and entry inside a pyramid is not included.
